"Kate Chapman's talents are vast."

Kate Chapman is a performer, writer, visual artist, teacher, speaker, author and coach.  Her Broadway performing credits include Mary Poppins, Les Miserables, Pajama Game, Sweet Smell of Success, Saturday Night Fever, in addition to countless concerts and benefits; also, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Mrs. Claus for 5 seasons), Shakespeare in the Park, Lincoln Center and many others.  She even “opened for the Pope” at Madison Square Garden, singing with both Harry Connick, Jr. and Gloria Estefan.  A 24-year member of the Tony award-winning Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV), Kate sings with BIV at many events each year, helps with BIV’s national outreach programs at Covenant House and The Ronald McDonald House, and is a copywriter for the organization.  

 

In 2014, Kate was invited by the Norwegian Embassy and the National Theatre of Uganda to direct an original Broadway-style musical in Kampala, involving both the local and international communities.  While in Uganda, Kate was asked to deliver workshops and concerts to populations throughout the country, including at the source of the Nile river.  Kate has also presented and entertained in Paris, France, Sydney, Australia and Istanbul, Turkey, as well as 38 states in the USA.

 

A life-long learner, Kate holds a Bachelor of Music Education (Boston University, cum laude), a Master of Arts in Health Arts and Sciences (Goddard College), and coaching certificates from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Wayfinder Life Coach Training.  Her first book, A Pixie’s Prescription: A Fun Toolkit for a Feel Better Life, is available on Amazon.com, and her talk show The Kate Chapman Show: A Feel Better Hour, can be enjoyed on YouTube.  In 2020, Kate launched a new web series entitled Little Kate on the Prairie, which offers a window into living a creative and resilient life.
